Wade Miley has done something he has never done in his career, pitch a complete game shut out! What a performance by Miley as he allows 5 hits, no walks, 4 strikeouts and threw 114 pitches giving the bullpen a nice break. The Mariners have secured their 5th straight series win and have shut out the Royals in the last two games.

The first inning started out great as Seth Smith hit his 2nd Homer in two games and then Kyle Seager hit a three run shot to right field after Cano and Lind were walked. A funny stat for the night come from Nelson Cruz as he reached base on all plate appearances without getting one hit and adding a RBI to his night. The Mariners finish the month of April on a positive note, finishing with a 13-10 record showing that this team is ready for a change of pace.

The stellar Taijuan Walker takes on Ian Kennedy and the World Series champs for the potential sweep tomorrow. Lets hope May is a equally if not better month for the Mariners! Go M’s!!!!
