Prior to this series, very few people anticipated the Rangers to take a 2-0 series lead back to Arlington. The Rangers now have a chance to sweep Toronto and advance to the ALCS.

Martin Perez (3-6, 4.46 ERA) will be on the mound for the Rangers at Global Life Park. Perez will be facing the Blue Jays’ offense for the first time this season. Marco Estrada (13-8, 3.13 ERA) will be on the mound for the Blue Jays. Estrada threw 6 innings of 1 run baseball in his only start against the Rangers this year.

“We need a big outburst with the bats, score a lot of runs,” Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said. “We have to keep trusting our teammates and believe in what got us here,” Josh Donaldson said. “We still have an opportunity to win this series.”

Texas will look to ride the momentum created by Rougned Odor, who has been a spark plug for the Rangers this series. “That excitement and exuberance that he plays with, it lifts everybody else in this clubhouse,” Rangers catcher, Chris Gimenez said.

Here is how both teams will line up:
