Brewers Down Phils 3-1

Behind 7 strong innings from righty Wily Peralta, the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Phillies 3-1 on Friday. Peralta struck out 3 and walked 2 while earning his 3rd win of the season.  Philadelphia struggled on offense all game posting an anemic 1-10 with runners in scoring position. Chase Utley continued his strong performance since returning from the DL, leading the Phillies with 4 hits and driving in the Phillies’ lone run. Adam Morgan took the loss for Philadelphia.

Khris Davis homered for Milwaukee to pace the Brewer offense.  Francisco Rodriguez pitched the 9th to gain his 27th save of the season.
